Amtrak Cascades with cabcar ex-F40ph #90340 awesome K5LA: Details: This is an excerpt from my trip to Portland Oregon. I have other footage from this trip on my youtube account. Highlights: 00:00 Sunday August 14, 2011. Amtrak Cascades #509 at Portland Union Station. Seen departing at NW Naito Pkwy. Engineer does excellent quilling (regulating) on the horn of cabcar 90340. Beautiful K5LA. P42DC 157 on the rear. 02:13 Monday August 15, 2011. Amtrak Cascades #507 at SE Clay St. With the same exact set from the day before. Engineer again does some excellent regulating on the air horn. I use to go to this spot to watch the Coast Starlight with my dad in the mid to late 90s.
