So. A friend and I want to drive from Seattle to San Francisco this July. We're both 17. We both have our license and have a quite thorough plan. We'll be visiting and staying with my best friend and her family for about a week. My parent's and my best friends parents are alright with it, but we have to convince my friend whose going with me's parents to allow this. They are kind of over protective, but they let us drive to Portland, Oregon by ourselves and stay there with my family for a couple days before. We're planning on making a power point with all the calculations and details of the trip. We'll have more than enough money saved up before the trip. Any tips on convincing them further?
